Hi, I’m Josh, a qualified teacher with 14 years of experience in education. I offer at home, face to face Maths tuition in Southampton and surrounding areas.

Every student receives a bespoke learning programme tailored to their individual needs, and lessons are delivered at a pace that is appropriate and supportive for your child.

Individual tuition

£40 per hour

1:1 tutoring (I come to your home), is fully personalised, so lessons move at the right pace and focus on the exact concepts your child needs. Online tuition is also available.

Suitable for: KS2 ( Years 3-5), KS2 Sats preparation (Year 6), KS3 ( Years 7-9), GCSE Foundation Maths (Years 10-11)

I also offer shorter sessions for primary children: £25 for 30 mins £32.50 for 45 mins

Group tuition

£25 per hour, per student

Ideal for friends and children working at a similar level. Children often enjoy group tuition because it creates a more social, interactive and supportive learning environment. Working alongside other children can help students feel more relaxed and less pressured, especially if they find Maths challenging.

  • I offer Maths tuition for Students from Year 3 to 11 ( GCSE Foundation Maths). Most lessons are for one hour though for my primary students I also offer 30 minute and 45 minute lessons. Lessons take place in the clients’ homes and online tuition is also available as well.

  • My philosophy is that all children can succeed in Maths. However complex a topic or problem is, working at an appropriate pace for each child and breaking down the problem into small, manageable steps will help them achieve. Making learning fun is also important. 

  • Getting started is simple. Reach out through our contact form or schedule a call and I’ll walk you through the next steps and answer any questions along the way. Before tuition starts, I will come and visit you to discuss the areas of Maths you would like to start working on.

  • £40 per hour for individual lessons, £32.50 for 45 mins and £25 for 30 minutes. For Group sessions it is £25 per hour per student.
